Did you know... In all of the tournaments the Dragons have won, they held their opponents in Game 1 to 32 points (70-32, 70-32, and 67-32) and the championship was won against a school starting with the letter "F" (Festus/Farmington). Ironically, the Dragons lost Game 1 of the Ameritime Classic 47-70 and there were no schools starting with the letter "F" playing in the tournament.
To make it to the finals of Bob Sechrest, the Dragons defeated all the "P" schools-- Potosi, Park Hills Central, and Perryville. Throughout all four tournaments, they've only played one school that did not start with a "P" or an "F" (Seckman, with the final "F" school being Francis Howell Central and the final "P" schools being Parkway South, Parkway West, and Parkway Central during the Ameritime Classic). Also, in three tournaments, the Dragons won Game 2 with 58 points (58-43, 58-32, and 58-49). The District tournament was won 56-54.
